Monument to All Boulders — 2005
Public sculpture and companion guidebook in Vancouver, BC. The guidebook, titled “Geologic Time Capsules Revealed”, maps out, and gives the socio-geologic histories of other glacial boulders located in the City. As an artwork, the boulder touches history of public monuments as it relates to environmental impacts of urban / land development, geology and deep time. Earth Scientist John Clague was a consultant on the project. Commissioned by Vancouver’s Or Gallery, and now part of the City of Vancouver’s Public Art collection.
