Rotten Walnut—2019
One of a series of sculptures about selfhood—made from a pot and items collected in the country-side surrounding my childhood home in the Ottawa Valley, in rural Ontario. This includes a backyard “farm dump” common to the area. Shown as part of the exhibition, Overcoat of Clay (2019), at Paul Petro Contemporary Art, Toronto.
