Rotten Walnut—2019
One of a series of sculptures about selfhood—made from a pot and items collected in the country-side surrounding my childhood home in the Ottawa Valley, in rural Ontario. This includes a backyard “farm dump” common to the area. Shown as part of the exhibition, Overcoat of Clay (2019), at Paul Petro Contemporary Art, Toronto.

Rotten Walnut, stoneware, glaze, slip, driftwood, plastic fork, rain hat, cement stones (2019)
