Self Portrait as a Pot I and II—2014/2019
Two self portraits as pots, hollow anthropomorphized forms (vessels have necks, bellies and feet) that reflect and contain my inner and outer experience, including reality/fantasy; sanity/insanity, visible/invisible. Pedestal and pot together equal my height. Fired in an electric kiln, and smoke fired.
Self Portrait as a Pot, barrel fired stoneware, mdf (base), latex paint,

Self Portrait as a Pot II, stoneware, glaze, smoke-fired lid, mdf, paint, 65 x 10 x 9” (includes plinth, below), 2019
